At Hoyland Plant Centre we take your privacy very seriously and we protect your data in line with the government General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) legislation set out in 2018.
When placing an order you will be asked for the following so we can successfully provide the products ordered
– Name
– Address
– Telephone Number
– Email Address
– Card Details
When sending an order to someone else you will be asked for their Name, and Address.
We do not share your information with any third party, other than for the purpose of fulfilling your order/taking payment.
All payments processed on our website or over the phone are done through a secure payment system run by Paypal or Nochex. Web payments are processed through a secure encrypted server
Your Name, Address, Phone Number and Email details are passed to our delivery service (couriers or Royal Mail) for the purpose of processing your order and providing you with their parcel tracking service.
If you have subscribed to our newsletter you may receive occasional emails from us. Should you wish to unsubscribe at any time email the nursery direct on plantshop@somethingforthegarden.co.uk or click on the links at the foot of each Email.
Right of Restricted Processing & Right of Erasure
Unsubscribing from our newsletter does not delete your data from our database it simply means we will no longer send you our newsletter. This is your right of ‘restricted processing’
Should you wish to invoke your ‘right of erasure’ please email the nursery direct. We will then fully remove all your details from our database within 30 days of your request.
If you have placed an order within the last 12 months this may affect your plant guarantee. If you place another order after your right of erasure request has been granted you will be agreeing for us to hold your data again.
